The
2007-2010 Sheffield CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health) Partnership
Strategy has been developed by Sheffield CAMHS Strategy Group following
extensive consultation with all key stakeholders across the City. This includes
partners involved in commissioning and providing services supporting the mental
health and emotional well - being of children and young people, as well as
parents/carers and service users.
The Strategy addresses the mental health and
emotional well-being of children and young people at all levels of need – from
prevention and early intervention - right through to those young people with
highly complex mental health need. It sets out a comprehensive set of
priorities and corresponding action plan for improving services for children,
young people and their families in line with national expectation and local
need. It builds on excellent practice already occurring in the City, with a
view to developing this further.
The
Strategy is available to download from this website in both Full and Summary
versions.
