Shiregreen/Burngreave
Shiregreen/Burngreave Service District
Shiregreen/Burngreave Service District has completed all four workshops which have focused on developing shared understandings and integrated ways of working. During the workshops, a vision was created for engaging whole communities in delivering the offer for children, young people and families.  Detailed needs analysis data was presented, and delegates used this information alongside their local knowledge and expertise to develop a set of priorities for their district.

Some of the local priorities identified at the workshops for Shiregreen/Burngreave include:

  • Teenage Pregnancy
  • Emotional, social health and well-being
  • Transitions
  • Safeguarding
  • Transient and vulnerable children, young people and families

All the ideas generated at the workshops will go into developing a local plan which the Service District Manager, Julie Tasker is developing further with the Shiregreen/Burngreave Service District Partnership Board.
