Mosborough/Handsworth Service District has completed all the workshops which have focused on developing shared understandings and integrated ways of working. During the workshops, a vision was created for engaging whole communities in delivering the offer for children, young people and families. Detailed needs analysis data (which can be found in the reports section) was presented, and delegates used this information alongside their local knowledge and expertise to develop a set of priorities for their district.

A further workshop for key stakeholders and the leads from each task group took place on 26 June 2006. At this additional mini-workshop delegates used a method called results based accountability, detailed needs analysis and their local knowledge to help to unpick the priorities identified at the workshops. Results from this exercise and all the ideas generated at the workshops will go into a local plan which the Service District Manager, Gail Walker is developing further with the Mosborough/Handsworth Service District Partnership Board.
