Greenhill/Gleadless Service District has completed all four workshops which have focused on developing shared understandings and integrated ways of working. During the workshops, a vision was created for engaging whole communities in delivering the offer for children, young people and families. Detailed needs analysis data was presented, and delegates used this information alongside their local knowledge and expertise to develop a set of priorities for their district.
Some of the local priorities identified at the workshops for Greenhill/Gleadless include:
Early Intervention
Participation and engagement of children, young people and families
Teenage Pregnancy
Youth Opportunities
Parenting and family support
A good start to learning and attendance
All the ideas generated at the workshops will go into developing a local plan which the Service District Manager, Hazel Dobson is developing further with the Greenhill/Gleadless Service District Partnership Board.
