Postcode to Health Visitor Team Lookup List The ‘Postcode to HV Team Lookup List’ is an Excel spreadsheet that will enable a wide range of practitioners and agencies to be able to identify the correct HV Team for a family, by using the family postcode to search for the relevant HV team. This is the definitive list for Sheffield and supercedes all other lists, and should be used from now. DO NOT PRINT THIS LIST - it is being regularly updated (at least monthly), and contains hundreds of pages. It can be saved to your desktop until the next version is released, but please do not make any amendments to the list yourself. For further information or to request an amendment form (which should be used only by relevant HV Teams to request corrections/amendments and additions), please contact: Brenda Long, Liaison Service Lead, Sheffield PCT Tel (0114) 226 8264 Email: brenda.long@sth.nhs.uk Notes for use: Once the spreadsheet is open: 1) Make sure that ‘Check Postcodes’ is the active worksheet and that column A (POSTCODE) is the active column 2) Press either Ctrl + F or open the Edit menu and then click on Find 3) Type in the postcode using the following format: S2 9QA (one digit after ‘S’) S2 _ _ _ 9QA (three spaces) S20 9QA (two digits after ‘S’) S20 _ _ 9QA (two spaces) 4) Click Find next There are always EIGHT strikes of a key, either a number, a letter or a space - if a reminder says "Microsoft Excel cannot find the data you're searching for", you will probably not have typed enough keys in (unless you discover that the postcode is outside Sheffield). You will find the 'actual HV team' (as opposed to the 'default HV team' in a later column) in the yellow column next to the postcode.
