Every Child Matters Consultation 2007
The 2007 process consulted through questionnaires with approximately 5,000 children and young people aged 0-19+; 54 schools were involved; focus groups were held with one vulnerable group (homeless children); and following the analysis, children and young people will identify a couple of priorities to further examine the reasons behind certain findings and with service providers develop solutions to the issues raised.
The consultation is based around the 5 Every Child Matters outcomes:
- Be Healthy
- Staying Safe
- Enjoy and Achieve
- Positive Contribution
- Economic Well-being
Feedback will be given through newsletters and presentations to providers to ensure that the findings from the consultation are widely disseminated throughout the city. This will help the views of children and young people to feed into the planning, delivery and evaluation of services across the city.
The findings from the consultation can be found in the reports below. These include:
- 1 Full Citywide report
- 1 Citywide summary report
- 7 Service District Reports
- 7 Service District summary reports
